A kid's guide to feelings feeling mad- reviewed by ZAIRA AMJAD

 Name of the book-

A kid's guide to feelings feeling mad

What kind of well-being is the book talking about?

Emotional Well-being.

What are the factors that you have found out contribute to health?

The factors that I have found out which contribute to health are emotions & feelings.

The way we feel and the way we express are the major factors.

How these factors can contribute to health and well-being?

When we feel mad we-

Heart beats very fast, feel like crying, feel tense or sick, feel like shouting, hit or throw things, breathe really fast, or feel very hot

How do we look-

red face,narrow eyes,thin lips,clenched fists,wrinkled eyebrows,fold their arms,not talking to anyone and might move around a lot.

Things that make us mad are-

losing a game, not getting what you want, getting hurt, if someone says nasty things, if we think something is not fair.

Ways of maintaining health and well-being

a] Self- when feeling mad is good because it helps us to stand up for ourselves.

b] Family-

c] Community-

For self, family and community

if someone says nasty things stop them

don't be unfair to anyone

how to deal with feelings-

try counting slowly to 10, walk away from the problem, jump, run or shout to get away from the problem

Comments

  1. There was a lot of information about anger, I thought it was very interesting. It is good to know what makes us angry. I wonder if you could have added your personal ideas about anger too and what you thought about the book.
