Breathing and meditation ( Review by Umar)
The intent was to explain how yoga and meditation help us learn about our breath body how the two are connected. This awareness can help us navigate different situations at school or at home.
Before reading the book I don't know much about yoga and meditation.
In the book the author covered issues of breathing and body exsecise all most the aspects of breathing and body movements were explained in detailed
I have learned a new thing from the book, when we are nervous or upset about something then we should stop doing what ever and breath . Find a quiet place to take a moment to focus on your breath . Slowly inhale . Slowly exhale. Repeat as many times as you need.
In the book the author explained as thoughts come up during your meditation, notice them like you notice clouds in the sky. You see them, and they paas by. It was surprising for me.
The section which impact from the book is about meditation in which author explained that, we experience many different emotions and situations in a given day. Sometimes we are in uncomfortable situations. Sometimes our emotions overwhelm us. Meditation helps us slow down and pay attention to the present moment. It is a great tool to help us to respond to situations thoughtfully rather than reacting to them. In the heat of the moment. It can help us remember that discomfort is only temporary.
Let's meditate!
